Traditional braces are composed of metal brackets and wires that run through them.

They are the most commonly used appliances to align the teeth and correct the bite. Over many years of technological advancements, braces have become smaller and the wires produce lighter forces, making for a better treatment experience at your orthodontist in Melbourne, FL. The wires are held in place with tiny elastic bands, which can be clear, silver, or many different colors.

We are now welcoming patients and parents into our waiting rooms.  There is no need to call us when you arrive.  We are, however, asking that everyone wear face coverings upon entering, regardless of vaccination status.  We continue to take precautions for prevention of spreading COVID-19.  We remain vigilant with our sterilization and disinfection protocols and we will continue taking additional precautionary measures as well.  We still ask that you reschedule your appointments if the patient has been symptomatic in the last ten days or has been recently exposed to someone known to be infected with COVID-19.

We will continue utilizing only half of our operatories to maintain significant distance between patients.  We ask that all of our patients thoroughly brush their teeth prior to their appointments to limit the use of our toothbrushing area.  As always, we will continue to be committed to giving each of our patients the best possible experience!

Thank you for your understanding!
